His broad skill set and knowledge base is a sound platform on which to specialise and offer regarded expert advice and opinion. His experience encompasses programme, project and construction management, temporary & permanent works design, general contracting, planning & programming, cost estimating & control, value engineering and risk analysis, quality management, partnering, as well as claims analysis and dispute resolution.

Joe Roberts is a proactive planner who brings considerable experience of planning & time control of capital projects. He combines a wide technical knowledge of construction methods & techniques with an in-depth understanding of planning theories & principles to deliver robust and accessible forensic delay analysis.

Joe is able to communicate at all levels and has proven organisational & leadership skills gained through the management of multiple planning teams. His practical expertise builds on an expanded academic foundation that has focused on the skills & techniques required for successful programme management.

Michael Deeney is an experienced construction professional with strong programme and construction management skills who specialises in project and construction management, commercial management and general business management. He has 17 years of experience as a contractor and consultant, gained on a wide range of global and national projects, including: major infrastructure road, airfield, tunnelling, waste water treatment, industrial and utility works. In addition Michael spent 5 years as Northern Ireland Divisional Manager for a successful environmental services group.

His broad skill set and knowledge base is a sound platform on which to specialise and offer Project Management, programming and planning, commercial and delay analysis advice and opinion. His experience encompasses programme, project and construction management, general contracting, planning & programming, cost estimating & control, value engineering and risk analysis, health & safety, quality management, partnering, as well as claims analysis and dispute resolution.

Michael is a senior consultant at Vantage Three Limited, a specialist practice providing expertise in commercial and programme management, contract governance, project recovery and dispute resolution.

Rodney Hughes is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and Practicing Associate Member of The Academy of Experts, with extensive experience in construction cost management, project management and dispute resolution.

He has experience of working in both contracting and consulting environments with a broad understanding of design, construction and maintenance practices.

Gareth McDermott is a Quantity Surveyor with over 14 years experience as a contractor, subcontractor and consultant. His experience embraces projects worldwide which includes marine, civil & infrastructure, MEP, offshore oil & gas, as well as desalination and sewage treatment plants, international airports, five star hotels and multi-story residential developments all of which ranged in size and complexity.

Gareth specialises in the forensic investigation and advice of quantum claims and provides advice and opinion on quantum matters concerning variations, assessment of loss and expense including prolongation, acceleration, disruption and final accounts. Gareth has been support and lead support to the quantum expert on several major international disputes in arbitration, and named quantum expert and support on domestic disputes in adjudication and litigation.

Thomas Smith joined Vantage Three in 2016 where he is an Associate.

Thomas works with Vantage Three’s Experts and provides valuable support in project and dispute resolution scenarios on a range of issues such as entitlements to extensions of time and analysis of delay.

He is well-versed at conducting forensic research of project records and programmes in the analysis of delay and disruption on construction and engineering projects.

He is experienced in a wide range of programming software such as Primavera P6, PowerProject and Microsoft Project.
